Henley-on-Thames is a long ride out through the picturesque Thames Valley to the edge of the Chilterns and back. This route stops at Velolife Cafe just outside Henley for toasties and coffee.
Leaving from Richmond, the route takes many of the same roads used to get to Windsor before pointing east above Bracknell. You'll then embark on the drag climb up the aptly-named Crazies Hill before reaching Velolife.
After some lunch, descend into Henley at speed and cross the river. The return leg skirts as much of the Chilterns as possible, following the winding country roads. Sprint past Pinewood Studios and you’re back in the capital.
