London Phoenix CC have hosted this sportive annually on Easter weekend since 2008, denoting the start of the Spring Classics in cycling. The route winds through the villages of Good Easter and High Easter. What a name, what a route.
Set off from Victoria Park and make for Essex. The route undulates with open roads and windswept fields (pray for a tailwind). There are plenty of options for stops, but we recommend Snug Cafe in High Easter. The village pubs offer great beer gardens as well, like The Chequers where you can sit out front and watch the cricket on the green.
